The Amazon Rainforest is a vital part of the world. But it is being destroyed by deforestation and global warming. Some ways to solve this are fundraisers, limiting deforestation, and planting trees.
One of the things that could be done to save the Amazon Rainforest is having fundraisers. The fundraisers would raise money to buy plants and other things that the rainforest would need. For example, people near the Amazon Rainforest could raise money to take animals in and help the population in the rain forest. One other fundraiser is that a school could use some of the school day to sell baked good to go to the Amazon Rainforest. Another way that the Amazon Rainforest can be saved is by limiting deforestation. If big companies can destroy the Amazon, they can save it by enacting zero-deforestation policies. The Amazon can also be saved through politics, or more specifically, the Wilderness act. Regular people can help too. Either by using less paper, or only buying things from companies that have made a commitment to reducing deforestation. Also, humans can help the Amazon Rainforest is by planting trees. When humans plant trees, they will replace older trees and trees that have been cut down. When the trees get big, they will make great homes for monkeys, insects, and other organisms. The trees will also feed these animals. In addition, these trees will produce oxygen and absorb some pollutants, so the animals and humans aren't breathing in as many chemicals. In conclusion humans should save the rainforest because the Amazon rainforest helps regulate the climate, including tempature and rainfall. |
